Gladiators of Chester

Experience the thrill of ancient Rome through this exciting series of events celebrating the Grosvenor Museum's "Gladiators of Britain" exhibition.

From meeting authentic gladiator reenactors and BBC Gladiators champion, Amanda Wah, to family fitness sessions and city-wide helmet hunts, Gladiators of Chester brings history to life with interactive activities for all ages.

Chester Heritage Festival

Our flagship initiative, Chester Heritage Festival, transforms the city for two vibrant weeks each year with a carefully curated programme of walks, talks, workshops, films and performances.

The festival brings together local historians, artists, businesses and residents to celebrate Chester's remarkable heritage while discovering new stories and perspectives on our historic city.
