Step into summer with a hands-on family activity from Grosvenor Museum, exploring Chester through the seasons!
Get up close to a specially selected handling collection of summer-themed objects, and have a go at dressing up in seasonal hats and parasols for some brilliant photo opportunities.
While you're here, why not enter our "Chester in the Summer" poster competition? Using our template, design your own poster celebrating what summer in Chester means to you. Take part during the session, or complete it at home and bring it (or email it) into the museum. The top 10 entries will feature in a special online exhibition!
This activity takes place inside the Roman Gardens, you will find us on the grass.
No booking required - just drop in and let your child's imagination shine! All materials provided. Suitable for children of all ages, though younger participants may need adult assistance.
