About the Event
Come along to Helsby Community Centre on Saturday 19 September from 9.30am-1pm and discover more about the fascinating photograph collection of Jim Lloyd, a lifelong resident of Helsby and other material relating to Helsby's history.
Jim Lloyd, is a photographer who has recorded the commercial, industrial and social history of Helsby for many years. His collection also includes older photographs going back to early in the 20th Century.
Many of his photographs are on permanent display in Helsby Community Centre, but this event is an opportunity to see a much wider selection of his extensive collection.
Jim will be on hand to answer questions.
This is a partnership event with Helsby Library (in the same building as the Community Centre) who are organising a display of the material they hold relating to local history.
