About the Event
Join us for two special creative family days at St Peter's Church, where art and architecture come alive for all ages!
Saturday 8th November: Stained Glass Art Workshop
Create your own beautiful paper stained glass tree ornament to take home with local artist, Jen McAndrew! Perfect for the festive season, children can create their own colour paper stained glass masterpiece. Watch as light transforms your creation into a glowing work of art. Each child will leave with their own unique ornament - a special keepsake that captures the magic of St Peter's in the festive season.
Friday 22nd November: The Missing Building Project
Join Architect, Neuza Morais, and become part of an extraordinary international initiative! Join children and families from Chester, Bristol, Rotterdam, Canada, Mozambique and Portugal in imagining the buildings that could transform our cities.
This global project brings together young people, adults, and architecture practices to reimagine urban spaces through fresh eyes. Your ideas will become part of Chester's contribution to this worldwide creative conversation about the future of our built environment.
Both activities welcome all ages and abilities - no experience needed, just imagination!
Parents should accompany children throughout.
