Come and learn about the lives of soldiers and their families from 1689 to the present day with our FREE ENTRY weekend!
Join us on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September for HODs. Do you have a family member who served in the forces? If you would like to know more why not chat to our research team during your visit?
Free entry 12 & 13 September. The museum will be open on other days over the Heritage Open Days period but normal admission charges will apply.

Where can we park?
Castle car park right by the museum entrance is usually open weekends. There is a charge of £5 all day.
Is the venue accessible?
The venue is fully accessible.
Is this event suitable for children?
The trail is most suited to children 7-11 years old.
All children under 16 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Is this event dog friendly?
Yes, well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
