About the Event
Set in beautiful parkland in the historic town of Frodsham. The Centre was originally the stables of the house and was refurbished into a centre for the arts in the 1980s.
The Centre is used for a wide range of events, workshops and classes for people of all ages. It contains 5 gallery spaces, craft units, coffee shop (serving freshly made light lunches) and workshop rooms.
Castle Park Arts Centre's visitors can enjoy for free, a 6-week rolling programme of inspiring visual arts and displays of unique handmade craftworks from artists and designers based locally and further afield, ideal for that extra special gift. The Centre is also used as a community hub by numerous local clubs and societies.
For the duration of the open days, visitors will be able to learn about the history of the site, look around the galleries and go into the park to see the manicured gardens and house (no entry to the house). They can also listen to the free music that is on every day at 11am in the covered courtyard. There will be colouring for children so they can make their own memento of the iconic clock tower.
Some of our exhibiting artists will be running free drop in demonstrations on the Saturdays in one of our galleries from 11am-2pm.
